HELEN was thrilled and amazed to be recognised twice in a new awards programme launched by LUX magazine, a glossy international journal for those who aspire to an equally glossy lifestyle. She felt especially proud to be acknowledged for her Bowen training achievements.
Health, beauty and wellness is the newest addition to a series of awards managed by LUX magazine which prides itself on seeking out people, products and places offering a unique service to a discerning audience. Winners were announced last month.
For Helen, an experienced and highly-respected therapist and trainer as well as distributor of exclusive health and wellness products, this has brought recognition in two categories:
- Best Bowen Therapy Training Provider in the UK Helen is one of just 12 instructors in the country accredited by the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia. In addition to teaching the original Bowen Technique she has developed her own specialist training course for Bowen therapists wishing to work in the field of palliative care.
- Best Health and Wellness Product Bowtech Ease* is a natural aromatherapy oil for relieving pain and inflammation of bunions and other joints while also benefiting a range of everyday ailments. Developed in Australia for use by professionals in clinical practice, Helen subsequently developed a popular 10ml rollerball for retail use. * Bowtech Ease has won three awards since 2015.
LUX awards co-ordinator Emma Keen explained: The Health, Beauty & Wellness Awards celebrate the innovation and dedication demonstrated by our winners, success that deserves an accolade to match. It has been a genuine privilege to be able to showcase the hard work, talent and commitment of businesses and individuals from across the UK.
The winners were selected through a combination of industry voting and in-house research. With no idea that she had even been nominated, Helen was surprised and delighted to hear the news. It is very gratifying to be picked out in this way among so many of my peers who are equally deserving, she said.
